Un viaggio radicato nella tradizione, che unisce due culture
Our story begins many years ago, when our ancestors migrated from Crimea and settled on the vast lands of Central Anatolia, in the fertile plains of Ayrancı, Karaman. That's why this land is not just a place of production for us — it's an essential and irreplaceable part of our spiritual heritage.
For the past 15 years, together with my family, we have been keeping this legacy alive, farming and producing food in our region, using only traditional methods and growing fruits and vegetables in their natural seasons, just as nature intended.
The da Berendi brand was born when my husband and I moved to Italy — marking the beginning of a new chapter in our journey. The name comes from Berendi, a small, remote village of about 50 households nestled in the foothills of the Toros Mountains in Turkey, where we also have production roots.
After moving to Italy, inspired by my husband's idea, we added an Italian touch — da, meaning "from" — to create da Berendi, a name that reflects both our Turkish origins and our new story in Italy.
da Berendi is a brand that draws strength from its roots, bridges two cultures, and stays true to its natural essence. Today, we bring the purest and most authentic flavors of Turkey to tables across Europe, staying faithful to our heritage and our land.
La nostra storia inizia con l'insediamento dei nostri avi, emigrati dalla Crimea molti anni fa, nelle vaste terre dell'Anatolia centrale: le fertili pianure di Ayrancı - Karaman. Per questo motivo, questa area geografica non è solo una zona di produzione per noi, ma è anche una parte molto importante del nostro patrimonio morale.
Per mantenere viva questa tradizione, da circa 15 anni io e la mia famiglia ci occupiamo nella nostra regione sia di agricoltura che di produzione alimentare: produciamo la frutta e la verdura che la natura ci offre nei cicli stagionali utilizzando soltanto metodi tradizionali.
Il marchio "da Berendi" è il simbolo di un nuovo viaggio che abbiamo intrapreso, con mio marito, dopo esserci trasferiti in Italia. Prende il nome dal piccolo villaggio di Berendi, composto da circa 50 famiglie.
Dopo esserci trasferiti in Italia, abbiamo aggiunto, con un tocco italiano, la parola "da" al nome del nostro marchio, ad indicare che proveniva da Berendi, affinché riflettesse sia le nostre radici turche sia la nostra nuova storia in Italia.
"da Berendi" è il nome di un brand che si nutre delle sue radici, unisce due culture e preserva la sua naturalità. Oggi portiamo i sapori più naturali e puri della Turchia sulle tavole europee, rimanendo fedeli al nostro passato e alla nostra terra.
